2021 looks to be an exciting year for gdm architects, we have a healthy portfolio of current, new and potential projects on a wide spread of project types. Projects range from residential to industrial, health care to education and even some retail and workplace schemes in recent challenging commercial times.
As always, we constantly review ourselves to make sure we are equipped to resource and manage our projects and to push ourselves forwards in every respect. To ensure this, as we grow, we have recently recognised the need to increase the management team.
We are fortunate that we have dedicated staff and are able to fulfil this need from our within our current team.
Accordingly, we are delighted to announce that Ben Jugoo and Mitchum Castro have been appointed to the position of Associate.
Both Ben and Mitch are established and respected members of our staff and over their time with gdm have consistently proved their competence, ability and commitment.
Ben, who joined gdm in 2014 is an architect that believes perfection of a design is achieved through its detail, Ben has proven his philosophy on the many different schemes he has lead in his time with us. Bens projects have included; Chilmington Green Primary School, Ebbsfleet Green Primary School, SECAmb MRC depots and Group Primary Care Centres. As an associate, Ben will have responsibility for and will be focused on the management of commercially biased projects.
Mitch joined gdm in 2006 and, over the 15 years, has developed and become a strong allrounder. Mitch’s ethos is very client focused and his commitment to delivery and client satisfaction is unparalleled. Mitch has a wide experience of various project types and has recently become invaluable with his approach to leading the residential project team. Recent projects include: small and large housing schemes for both private and public developers and high profile projects at Hythe imperial, Victoria Quarter, Ashford and St Anns Hill Wandsworth. Mitch will link with Ben but focus on projects that are residentially biased.
Both Ben and Mitch will join the gdm management team and take specific responsibility with the day to day running of projects, quality control, resourcing and programming and we welcome them to our team and look forward to an exciting future.
